 The Portuguese international has not played five matches since he played for Real Madrid in 2010, and his current poor performance has sparked controversy due to his dismissal from the squad.

 The striker celebrated his 37th birthday over the weekend, and it's fair to say that despite his many talents, his best days are still behind him.
