Nemanja Matic is planning to meet the Manchester United chiefs about his future at Old Trafford.
The 33-year-old has a contract with the Red Devils that expires in June 2023.
The Daily Star reports that Matic has been struggling to maintain his starting point this season and may decide to leave Manchester United in the summer.
The Serbia international has started just four matches since Ralf Rangnick took over as interim manager at the end of November, and he is also struggling to overcome a leg problem and has not played for United since the winter break.
The British newspaper confirmed that the player knows that the new general manager of Manchester United, Richard Arnold, is interested in signing a high-ranking midfielder in the upcoming transfer period.
