Giroud overtakes Liao and is Milan's top scorer in all competitions

French Olivier Giroud has surpassed his Portuguese colleague, Rafael Liao, as AC Milan's top scorer this season in all competitions, after he scored two goals for his team against Lazio in the Italian Cup quarter-final matches, which are currently being held at the San Siro stadium.

According to the "Squaka" network for statistics and sports figures, Giroud raised his score to the tenth goal in all competitions this season with two goals against Lazio.

The network added that Giroud surpassed Rafael Liao, who scored his ninth goal during the same match, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic came third with 8 goals.

The network indicated that Giroud scored a double in a row after his two goals against Inter Milan in the derby last Saturday.

For its part, the "Opta" network highlighted Girou's goals, as it confirmed that the ten goals Giroud scored this season came during 8 matches he played mainly with the Rosinieri at the San Siro stadium.

And it was reported that Giroud became the third AC Milan player in the last 10 years to score in 4 consecutive games as a starter at San Siro, after Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Hakan Calhangulu.

It is noteworthy that Milan approached its neighbor Inter Milan in the semi-finals, after it reached the fourth goal in the Lazio net less than 10 minutes before the end of the match.
