Chelsea adds the Club World Cup to its coffers for the first time at the expense of Palmeiras

The English club Chelsea added the Club World Cup to its coffers after achieving a difficult victory over Palmeiras, Brazil, with two goals to one, during the final of the tournament, which was held at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Al Jazira Club.

Chelsea advanced in the 55th minute through Romelu Lukaku, and Rafael Vega equalized from the penalty mark in the 64th minute.

The VAR technique was the highlight of the match after Australian Christopher James Beth returned to the Italian Massimiliano Irati, the VAR referee, three times during which he awarded two equal penalties between each team, and the most famous red card in the face of Palmeiras defender Luan.

Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel started with:

 Goalkeeper: Edward Mendy.

Defenders: Antonio Rudiger - Andreas Christensen - Thiago Silva - Cesar Azpilicueta.

 Midfield: Mason Mount - N'Golo Kante - Mateo Kovacic - Kai Havertz - Hudson-Odoi.

 Attack: Romelu Lukaku.

He began his early substitutions, with Mason Mount exiting and Christian Pulisic entering in the 32nd minute, and then making two adjustments in the 76th minute, with Saul Niguez and Timo Werner coming in instead of Callum Hudson-Odoi and Romelu Lukaku, and with the beginning of the extra first half, Hakim Ziyech and Malang Sar instead of Kovacic and Christensen.

While Palmeiras coach Abel Ferreira started with a formation of:

 Goalkeeper: Weaverton.

Defenders: Gustavo Gomez, Marcos Rocha, Luan Teixeira.

Midfield: Joaquin Péquez - Jose Rafael - Danilo - Rafael Vega - Gustavo Scarpa.

 Attack: Dudu - Ronelson Barbosa.

And Ferreira made substitutions, the start of which was in the 60th minute with the participation of Galison Marquez and the exit of Jose Rafael, and in the 76th minute, Edward Atoista and Wesley participated in the place of Ronelson Barbosa and Rafael Vega.

The Australian Christopher James Beth officiated the match and cautioned Wesley and Luan from Palmeiras and Kai Havertz from Chelsea.

And he returned to the VAR technique three times, during which he calculated two penalties and sent off the Palmeiras Luan player
